Our Travel Experiences
Salty Girl Travel helped us plan our 2025 summer vacation to Punta Cana. We stayed at the Magestic Mirage and had an amazing vacation! Thank you Shannon Sims Boutwell for helping us create these memories. We loved the resort and the Dominican people! I highly recommend both Shannon & this resort. Shannon had to assist us rearrange our departure flights when the airline had plane maintenance issues and she followed our progress online throughout both flights there & both flights home, communicating with me throughout the process. When we knew we would miss our connection flight, she rearranged our flights, resort stay, airport transportation and notified our butler. It was a smooth process.
Shannon loves planning adventures for people and it shows in the details and care she puts in planning a trip especially for you!!! I can’t wait for Salty Girl Travel to plan our next adventure!!!
Decided to skip the Gulf and do something different this year and SO glad we did! Salty Girl Travel was beyond fantastic in helping answer all our questions AND sending tips and advice along the way! She took all the guesswork out of our trip for us! We loved our trip to Cancun.

Alexis’s Senior trip to Cancun!!! I think this was the best vacation I have been on. All inclusive resort and using a travel agent (Salty Girl Travel) was the best decision. Everything went so smoothly and the resort, Riu Plaza Costa Mujeres, was amazing. It was absolutely stunning and the nicest staff ever.
Just want to give Shannon Sims Boutwell an atta girl for the AWESOME trip planning!!! We just returned from a girls trip to Punta Cana Dominican Republic and words can’t describe just how wonderful it was!! Shannon crossed every “T” and dotted every “i” from start to finish. If you want a trip planned, she’s your girl!!!!details and care she puts in planning a trip especially for you!!! I can’t wait for Salty Girl Travel to plan our next adventure!!!
Salty Girl Travel planned our 50th anniversary cruise to Alaska to perfection. I told Shannon from Day 1 that we didn’t want to plan anything and she did not disappoint. Thanks to her, all we had to do was pack, fly, cruise, and fly back home. No worries and no stress. Thank you again for everything! Looking forward again to our next one
